40 Days of Service
SCROLL DOWN FOR OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
The Ancient Church incorporated 40 days of solemn practices, beginning with Ash Wednesday, that prepared them for the joy of Easter. Many of us think of prayer and fasting during Lent, but service was also an important practice. Please pray during Lent for all of our affiliates and people in our four focus areas: homelessness, foster care, refugees/immigrants, sex trafficking. The guide below will give you some ideas. We also want to invite you to demonstrate your love for Christ by selecting one of our many volunteer opportunities during this season. These practices that enable you to identify with Christ’s suffering during Lent will make Easter all the more joyous!
