About the Event
Solutions for Change: Prepare Meals
Prepare a meal for families who have recently left homelessness. Drop off is located in Vista.
Alabaster Jar Project: Meal for Survivors
Prepare a meal for Alabaster’s Thursday evening support group for trafficking survivors. Drop off is located in Escondido.
San Diego Rescue Mission: Monthly Huddle event
Attend one of San Diego Recuse Mission’s monthly North County Huddle events to learn about the ongoing needs of the houseless in north county. This gathering happens on the last Wednesday of every month at the Planning Center in Carlsbad.
World Relief: Refugee support
World Relief needs volunteers to serve as English tutors, offer career support, or be a friendship partner for a refugee.
Tutors needed!
San Diego Refugee Tutoring, Casa de Amistad, and UrbanLife are looking for tutors to come alongside underserved students to begin regular tutoring in the fall. There are tutoring opportunities in both north and south county. This would be a commitment for the upcoming semester.
Support Foster Care Youth
Support teens in foster care who are aging-out of the system and most often overlooked. Just In Time For Foster Youth hosts volunteer info sessions on the third Thursday of each month!
