Come volunteer with our affiliates as they serve our vulnerable neighbors in San Diego! There are so many ways to get involved. Serve on your own, or bring a friend. Please note that some of these are one-time events, while others are ongoing.

About the Event
HECR: Transport Deliveries
Helping Empower Community Refugees (HECR) needs volunteers to transport deliveries to refugee families on Wednesday afternoons.
Solutions for Change: Prepare Meals
Prepare a meal for families who have recently left homelessness. Drop off is located in Vista.
Alabaster Jar Project: Meal for Survivors
Prepare a meal for Alabaster’s Thursday evening support group for trafficking survivors. Drop off is located in Escondido.
San Diego Rescue Mission: Monthly Huddle event
Attend one of San Diego Recuse Mission’s monthly North County Huddle events to learn about the ongoing needs of the houseless in north county. This gathering happens on the last Wednesday of every month at the Planning Center in Carlsbad.
World Relief: Refugee support
World Relief needs volunteers to serve as English tutors, offer career support, or be a friendship partner for a refugee.
Tutors needed!
San Diego Refugee Tutoring and UrbanLife are looking for tutors to come alongside underserved students for summer STEM camps and to begin regular tutoring in the fall. This opportunity is in south county, and would be a commitment for parts of the summer and/or the upcoming fall semester.
Support Foster Care Youth
Support teens in foster care who are aging-out of the system and most often overlooked. Just In Time For Foster Youth is hosting an upcoming volunteer orientation on June 15th.
The Well: Childcare help
Come hold babies and play with toddlers in the Little Wellies classes any time M-F between 9-3. The Well is a co-working and daycare space for moms that especially supports trafficking survivors and underserved women.
Solutions for Change: Childcare help
Care for resident kids weekly while parents attend life skills courses. Solutions offers a volunteer orientation every Tuesday.
Ladle: Distributions & Bible Studies
Join Ladle’s weekly clothing and food distribution on Sunday afternoons, or attend their Bible study on Wednesday evenings. This is an awesome opportunity to care for our neighbors experiencing homelessness! Events are located downtown at First Presbyterian Church.
