Your calendar may be full of summer outings, but many of the families that A Step Beyond serves have very few opportunities to enjoy summer events – you can make one possible! oin us for a day of service by hosting a family picnic replete with crafts, games, activities, food, and fun for the families of A Step Beyond, an afterschool creative youth development program in Escondido. Along with setup and breakdown, volunteers will help operate activity & game stations and help serve lunch. Come give the students of A Step Beyond a fun summer memory!

Lunch will be included for all volunteers!

Families volunteering with kids (all ages welcome!): Your child/children will also be able to enjoy the stations, as well as have some breaks and rests throughout the picnic.
