San Diego Rescue Mission: Shower Trailer (FULL)

Come experience the San Diego Rescue Mission’s shower trailer ministry. This event is offered in loving outreach to unsheltered neighbors as a way to clean off, receive breakfast, pick out new clothes, pray with someone, and enjoy the simple dignity of conversation with someone who cares. Volunteers are needed to help set up and break down, clean showers between uses, run food, clothing, and hygiene stations, and simply be available for conversations with those who show up to receive a shower. No prior experience or expertise needed! We will be operating the trailer in City Heights at Church of the Nazarene in Mid-City.
NOTE: We welcome creative additions like offering haircuts, live music or a craft/activity to facilitate with guests while they wait for their shower! Feel free to share your ideas and talents!
