Easter Outreach Meal – SD Rescue Mission

Part of Lament & Hope: Lent 2023

Each year San Diego Rescue Mission welcomes hundreds of guests to their downtown location for a hot meal to celebrate Easter together. Their goal is to make everyone feel seen, welcomed, and loved – a powerful message to communicate the true joy of Easter! The Rescue Mission needs volunteers to help prepare the large space ahead of time and to help welcome guests who come to enjoy a meal.

All volunteers on the downtown site need to be age 15+.

Shift 1: Set up, 9-11am (8 spots available)

Shift 2: Serve meal, 12-3pm (FULL)
