SDRT Holiday Parties (Filled)
Part of Comfort & Joy 2023
Celebrate alongside our refugee neighbors at one of San Diego Refugee Tutoring‘s Christmas parties, December 5th and/or December 7th. While you may have a calendar full of holiday parties, this may be the only Christmas celebration many of these families get to experience.
December 5th 4:00-6:30pm — prepare Christmas cookies and bring them to decorate with the kids and help hand out books for the students to read over the holiday break
December 7th 4:00- 6:30pm — help serve cocoa to the students and distribute holiday gifts
Families and children are welcome to join in the fun!
About the Event
The vision of San Diego Refugee Tutoring (SDRT) is to achieve social justice through educational access for students of refugee background in City Heights. SDRT provides holistic academic support through one-on-one tutoring and enrichment activities to students of refugee background. Come join in the celebration and learn about the beautiful work they are doing to serve these new and vulnerable neighbors in our community.
