Show Dignity to Migrant Arrivals

In recent weeks, 2,000 displaced people were dropped off by Customs and Border Patrol in “street releases” throughout San Diego County. More and more are arriving at a time when our homeless and migrant shelters are at capacity and homelessness is at an all time high. Nonprofits around the County are scrambling to assist migrants–most of whom desire to travel out of San Diego to join friends and family elsewhere.

It’s easy to focus on the politics, but time and time again in the Gospels, we see Jesus much more concerned about the welfare of people than resolving conflicting opinions. So in the midst of chaos, we wanted to send you ways you can actively love those arriving in our country.
