How is the tournament set up?

Whether you’re a newcomer to the sport or a seasoned player, we have something for everyone.

Beginners

Join our Open Play sessions designed to help you learn the game in a fun, supportive environment. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in casual games where the focus is on learning and enjoyment.

Intermediate and Advanced Players

1.Pool Play: Start the competition in pool play where you’ll be matched against players of similar skill levels. You can register with a partner or we will pair you up with another competitor.

2. Single Elimination Bracket: Following pool play, teams will be seeded into a single elimination bracket to determine our champions.

All matches will be played to 11 points, and you must win by 2 points to secure a victory.

What if I want to come, but don't want to compete?

There will be a dedicated social play space for any guests who want to have fun, without the pressure of the tournament.

Or come as a spectator and enjoy the food, drinks and great community!

Will there be an opportunity to give?

While there is no expectation or pressure to give, the hope of this event is to bolster our community of young adult givers. This will also be a space for education, vision-casting, and connection. So, at the end of the program you’ll have the opportunity to make a gift to Hope for San Diego or become a Hope Partner. Funds at this event will also help support at-risk youth in San Diego!

What should I bring?

Make sure to bring your paddle and wear comfortable sports attire!
