Come join this fun community event of San Diego young adults (20’s & 30’s) who are passionate about caring for our city.

We’ll celebrate the amazing things our community is accomplishing, connect in conversation, and hear from key leaders serving the vulnerable in our city…all while enjoying some friendly competition! We will have three opportunities for play: social play, the Beginning-Intermediate bracket, or the Intermediate-Advanced bracket.

Your entry fee will go towards supporting at-risk youth, survivors of sex trafficking, people experiencing homelessness, and immigrants/refugees. Bring a few friends to receive the discounted ticket price! Compete in the tournament or join for social play.

What if I haven't played before?

Not to worry! Outside of the tournament, there will be social play, games, and other fun aspects to this event to get to know others in this community.

Will there be food provided?

Yes! A wide variety of snacks & drinks will be included. Each attendee gets two drink tickets, and a food truck will be on site offering additional food options for purchase.

How is the tournament set up?

Whether you’re a newcomer to the sport or a seasoned player, we have something for everyone.

Our volunteer pickleball experts will lead the tournament.

At this event, there will be two bracket options you can compete in, in addition to our social play:

Beginner-Intermediate

Intermediate-Advanced

Ladder Play: We’ll have several rounds in ladder format to determine the top teams to compete in the playoff for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Bring Your Own Paddle

We will be playing only with Franklin X-40 Outdoor Performance Pickleballs

What if I want to come, but don't want to compete?

There will be a dedicated social play space for any guests who want to have fun, without the pressure of the tournament.

Or come as a spectator and enjoy the food, drinks and great community!

Will there be an opportunity to give?

While there is no expectation or pressure to give, the hope of this event is to bolster our community of young adult givers. This will also be a space for education, vision-casting, and connection. So, at the end of the program you’ll have the opportunity to make a gift to Hope for San Diego or become a Hope Partner.

What does the cost of my ticket go towards?

100% of ticket prices will go towards our Comfort & Joy program that provides support to families this holiday season, providing material needs as well as special gifts.

What should I bring?

Make sure to bring your paddle and wear sports attire!
